It is an extension of the library service for anyone who may struggle to get to the library through mobility issues or caring commitments or are apprehensive about travelling in the coming winter months. You may wish to join us just for the winter months and revert back to public library use in the spring.
The Home Library Service isFREE and is part of Stockport Libraries It is available to anybody who lives in the Stockport area. We deliver to and collect from your doorstep every 3 weeks.
We can provide you with books, large print books, talking books and DVDs. Also we have a selection of reminiscence items for you to borrow.
