It is a very relaxed group and there has been much fun and laughter as we learnt various Scottish dances. The dances are quite lively so Scottish Country Dancing is good for keeping fit. We organise weekly sessions for dancers on a Friday afternoon. New members are always welcome and if you have not danced before this is fine. The only things you will need to start dancing are a pair of flat comfortable shoes and some energy.
All our sessions are open to members of all U3A's in the NE Cheshire network.
If you are interested in joining us please either contact us by email or phone Sheila, her number is in the paper/email newsletter.
December 2017 Report: View
We have had several new members this year, some experienced dancers and several absolute beginners. The membership now is over 20 and we are settling into our new surroundings at the Bramley Centre. We now meet every Friday from 145pm -3.15pm and new members are always welcome. Our first meeting in 2018 will be on 19 January and we will dance each Friday through to the end of April (excluding Good Friday). Sheila Bruce-Smith
