The canasta group remains small and very friendly - two or at most three tables - but we could always accommodate some more new members. We have started to meet on both the first and third Monday afternoons.

Canasta is an easy game to learn and it would be good to introduce it to some people who want to learn from scratch. Currently nearly all our members have happy memories of playing in our youth, but we can recommend it to anyone who enjoys a relaxing card game, free from reliance on a sharp memory as most of what we need to know in order to decide the next move is generally on the table and visible to all. The skill is in deciding just what the next move should be.

If you want to give it a try please get in touch and join one of our regular sessions, or have a one to one lesson beforehand.
